The Success "Instinct"

A squirrel doesn't have to become taught how you can gather nuts. Nor will it need to understand that it will store them for winter. A squirrel born in the spring hasn't experienced winter. Yet in the fall of the year it could be observed busily storing nuts to become eaten throughout the winter season when there won't be any food to be gathered. A bird doesn't need to consider lessons in nest-building. Nor will it need to consider courses in navigation. Yet birds do navigate thousands of miles, sometimes over open sea. They've no newspapers or TV to provide them weather reports, no books compiled by explorer or pioneer birds to pre-plan on their behalf the nice and cozy areas of the earth. Nonetheless the bird "knows" when cold temperature is imminent and also the exact place of the warm climate though it may be thousands of miles away.

In trying to explain may be we usually say that animals have certain "instincts" which guide them. Analyze these kinds of instincts and you'll find guide your pet to successfully deal with its environment. In short, animals possess a "success instinct".

We quite often disregard the fact that man too includes a success instinct, much more marvelous and much more complex than that associated with a animals. Our Creator didn't short-change man. On the contrary, man was especially blessed in this regard.

Animals cannot select their set goals. Their set goals (self-preservation and procreation) are pre-set, to speak. And their success mechanism is restricted to those built-in goal-images, which we call "instincts". Man, on the contrary, has something animals haven't - Creativity. Thus man of creatures is more than the usual creature, he's additionally a creator. Together with his imagination he is able to formulate an assortment of goals. Man alone can direct his Success Mechanism by the utilization of imagination, or imaging ability. We quite often think about "Creative Imagination" as applying simply to poets, inventors, and so on. But imagination is creative in everything we do. Whilst they didn't understand why, or how imagination sets our creative mechanism into action, serious thinkers of every age group, as well as hardheaded "practical" men, have recognized the very fact making utilization of it.

"Imagination rules the world," said Glenn Clark. "The faculty of imagination may be the great spring of human activity, and also the principal supply of human improvement ... Destroy this faculty, and also the condition of individual will end up as stationary as that of the brutes," said Dugold Stewart, the famous Scottish philosopher. "You would ever guess your future," says Henry J. Kaiser, who attributes much of his success in business towards the constructive, positive utilization of creativity.

Showing True Genuine Love as a Youth

I don't know much about Stacey, but I know that she'd never met or cared about anyone like Busi. From www.sethbarnes.com

Jesus cared about Busi and wanted someone with human skin and hands to go to Swaziland to show her that, so he used Stacey.

Busi's death marked Stacey for life - she can't go back. Stacey's mobilized for God's agenda - the agenda He spells out in Isaiah 58.

There are More bored young people like Stacey who are looking for purpose who needs to meet their "Busi" and begin living the abundant life God promises to those who will care for His poor.

Busi's name means "blessing," and she was that to Stacey. She was three to four years-old and loved to dance. Busi's family lives in a very small mud hut on top of a large hill. Stacey, an American on an AIM team, found the mother and grandmother in the house, sitting on the floor, crying.
In Swaziland, such mourning is an everyday occurrence. Lots of missionaries have  learned not to schedule events on Saturdays, because that's when funerals are held.
Busi was one of Stacey's favorite students.

Stacey shared the following after hearing of Busi's death after she was hit by a car:

"We cannot make it to her funeral so we have our own. I grab a picture of Busi and begin walking towards the beach. The sun is hiding behind all of the clouds just like my smile is hiding behind the pain. Thirty minutes pass and everyone begins to gather on the shore. We praise God. We bless His holy name even though He has chosen to take little Busi away.
"God begins to speak to me. Our lives are just like the waves. There is so much time and effort put into our lives before we are even born into existence. The wave swells and is created just like we are. For a short while, we thrive and reach our potential. Then the wave crashes and its life is over. Just as the particles of water sink into the sand and dance back into the vast unknown, our legacy lives on. That's when I realized that a piece of Busi is alive in me.
"I roll up my pants and wade into the sea where I gently place Busi's picture on the water and watch it drift away. As I look up into the sky with tears blurring my view, I begin to smile. God has lifted the clouds and allowed us to stand in His radiance. The pain is real, but God has blessed us not only with Busi's life but also with her death. Glory to God in the highest."
Feeling what it's like to lose a child you've loved like Busi, you begin to understand why it's important that we, who have so much, reach out in love to a needy world.

After going through this story over and over again, something dropped within my soul and I asked myself Rachael, How many people have you been able to touch their lives? How many children have you been able to show some love? there are lots of talents being wasted each and everyday by the unstable economy we live in, climate change, earthquake, poverty, unemployment, disaster, lack of parental care and youthful lust.

It is high time we awake as youth and stop blaming the economy and  circumstances around us. Yes they play a major role but we need to move closer to God in order to have a fulled life and destiny because it is only when you are helped that you can help others, it is only when you are blessed that you can be a blessing to others, it is only when God elevates you that you are opportune d to elevate someone else. As youth we need to consciously move closer to our creator who knows our form, who framed us right from our mothers womb. This is one of the major reasons I am so much interested in the youth and children.

We are the leaders of tomorrow.

In Ecclesiastes 12 vs 1 - 14  New International Version (NIV)

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say,  “I find no pleasure in them”—before the sun and the light  and the moon and the stars grow dark,  and the clouds return after the rain;when the keepers of the house tremble and the strong men stoop, when the grinders cease because they are few, and those looking through the windows grow dim;when the doors to the street are closed  and the sound of grinding fades; when people rise up at the sound of birds, but all their songs grow faint;when people are afraid of heights and of dangers in the streets; when the almond tree blossoms and the grasshopper drags itself along and desire no longer is stirred.
Then people go to their eternal home and mourners go about the streets.Remember him—before the silver cord is severed, and the golden bowl is broken; before the pitcher is shattered at the spring, and the wheel broken at the well,  7 and the dust returns to the ground it came from,  and the spirit returns to God who gave it.“Meaningless! Meaningless!” says the Teacher.  “Everything is meaningless!”

The Conclusion of the Matter

Not only was the Teacher wise, but he also imparted knowledge to the people. He pondered and searched out and set in order many proverbs. 10 The Teacher searched to find just the right words, and what he wrote was upright and true. 11 The words of the wise are like goads, their collected sayings like firmly embedded nails—given by one shepherd. 12 Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them. Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body. 13 Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. 14 For God will bring every deed into judgment,  including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.
